Atlantic Coast Shade Donates Shade Structure to Youth Retreat Center in Belize

At Atlantic Coast Shade, we believe that great shade does more than protect from the sun — it creates spaces for connection, comfort, and community. That’s why we were honored to donate a new shade structure to God Cares Outreach for their Youth Retreat Center in Belize.

This new retreat center, envisioned and operated by pastor Derrick Pitts is a space where young people can gather for mentorship, spiritual growth, and community service. When God Cares Outreach shared their vision for an outdoor area where students could meet, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of their surroundings, we knew we wanted to help make it happen.

The team at Atlantic Coast Shade designed and supplied a durable, weather-resistant shade structure perfectly suited to the tropical climate of Belize. The installation now covers an open-air meeting space where groups can gather comfortably — whether it’s for youth workshops, music sessions, or quiet time with friends.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in this collaboration — from the volunteers on the ground in Belize to our fabrication and logistics teams who made sure the structure was ready for the journey south.
